Italian Blossom
"Lilla" or "Blossom"
With Blossoms whose symbols are printed upside down on one side, the other, or both sides; bodies in all shades of lavender, purple, blue, gray, and magenta, hair that can fade, different sized/shaped symbols, different stamps under their feet, and even eyes that can be either stamped on, or air-brushed on, there are more variations that you can count, and it's hard to find a place to draw a line between variants and just differences in ponies due to age, etc.
With all these differences, the names can be a bit confusing as well. I'm still searching for MOC/MIB pics for more evidence. I've seen the name "Lilla" printed on a MIS (mint in stable :P thanks to SoSilver who came up with that) DAG, a pamphlet and pretty parlor name tags which, means "Lilac", and since there is no accent over the 'a', it is referring to the color (not actually the flower). I also have seen MOC Italian Blossoms with just her English name, Blossom.

Lilla -regular
The Blossom that was produced by DAG and sold in a clear plastic case/box (instead of on the card) has the name "Lilla" printed on it. I believe these were the "regular" releases. These were released with a yellow flower brush as well.
Lilla -dwarf
This version is much shorter in stature than any other Italian collector's pose ponies. They are comparable in height to the Flat Foot ponies.
Blossom -4 feet stamped
This one came on a French card with a yellow flowerbrush and a sticker under the name "Blossom".
*Thanks to ds scully for that information and the use of her MOC pics.
I've seen Blossom on both a year two card and a year three card. I am unsure at this time if they're different versions (but I will find out soon).

Italian Magenta Blossom
She has a bright magenta colored body with dark purple (glory purple) hair and white symbols. She has just the 2 feet stamped and no pat pend mark.

Italian Airbrushed eyes Blosscotch
Lavender or gray in body color with lavender hair, this Blossom has Butterscotch's butterfly symbols (which is why some believe she is a Butterscotch, while some believe she is a Blossom). Her feet have four stamps under them and her airbrushed eyes have three lashes on the bottom!
Lilla -Airbrushed eyes, thin flowers
This one has two feet stamped and is faded to a blueish color.
Thanks to Yum-Yum for the picture!

Lilla -Airbrushed eyes, regular flowers
This one has 4 feet stamped.
**these last two are not really variants, but collectible nonetheless**
Lilla -body faded to blue
Really just a regular Italian Blossom who's body has faded to a blue color. You can still see the purple/lavender inside her neck and in some shadows, but it is thought by some that she was a different run of plastic in the factory and this run didn't keep it's color too well.
<= Haha, I just noticed my dog snuck his tail into that pic.

Lilla -hair faded to white
Some Blossoms and Bluebelles appear to have white hair, this is just faded lavender. Most of the ones I have seen have had the 4 feet stamped.
